Mary Fearon Communications Director

mfearon@jankelley.com

Traditionally, Public Relations has been our industry’s version of the Fire Department. Quickly called into duty to douse the flames when a CEO’s soiree goes awry, or when rodents come bounding out of baby food.

Enter our Communications Director, Mary Fearon, leading the new age of PR that proactively engages the audience in conversation - finding new ways for brands to provide relevant content while encouraging participation in brand-supported initiatives. Ultimately to the point of obnoxious enthusiastic endorsement.

For over 10 years, the honours grad from McMaster (and post-grad diploma holder from Seneca) has been practicing this in pretty much every communication discipline imaginable; from government relations, issues management, stakeholder/employee relations to technical Business-to-Business communication.

Mary also brings an interesting client list from her previous days in the agri-food sector; with brands such as: Agricore United, Proven Seed, First Line/Dekalb Seeds, Chicken Farmers of Ontario, the Fresh Vegetable Growers of Ontario, Farmers Markets Ontario and the Pita Pit Limited.

There’s also speculation that she’s pretty good on the plough. And, at the end of the day, after she’s elevated a few brands to dizzying heights of esteem, you’ll find her exhaustively chasing her two kids, or exhaustively sweating out some hot yoga.

They support and tell our story for us. I've always believed an effect...
